After trying so hard for Jubilee, I am totally surprised he did not merit the 54% markshit. Surely. Maybe he should sue.

Smart move by Ababu - he should get himself a good job at Jubilee.
-
What a roundabout way of getting a job? Couldn't he have protected hus reputation as well?

Thieves are smart; Looters are smart; Those who collect rent on government projects (10%) are smart. ...
Do you have any morals?

Namwamba and reputation? Some people glorify immorality.
It is hard to explain to them that one can get rich and powerful without stealing, giving his ass for a do over and such things. Those are the people who buy exams for their kids.

I don't think I said that? Ababu was gonna end up as ODM MP in opposition benches for the 3rd term -15yrs - of doing the same thing. Now he has a chance to be part of the executive. He has a chance to re-invent himself as executive. I am thinking Uhuru will reward him with Ken Lusaka in something substantial.

Most likely they will be powerless ambassador or parastatal chairman. It is slow death for a politician. I think for anyone who believes the MOAS but in opposition areas like Ababu... it was damned if you do damned if you don't.
For Ababu specifically, he is gifted enough to fight to inherit Luhya mantle from Raila... from within opposition. I don't read smart move.

Pundit
All MPs except three or four are backbenchers. There is no front bench in the Kenyan parliament. It does not matter if one is on government or opposition benches.
In terms of paycheck, Ababu as Chair of the a committee took home more than a cabinet secretary. We know he maximized this with a few bribes to whitewash thieves from the Public Accounts Committee Report.
He did not have to contest Budalangi o0n a Jubilee ticket to lose so that he can get "a chance to re-invent himself as executive"
As for the statements you made and now deny hold your peace because they are coming shortly.
1. I have you praising people who steal
2. I have you praising Ruto for collecting 10% of each contract awarded
3. I have you praising the looting of public and common wealth

Looking at the demographics, Ruto will invest heavily in Luhyaland. Ababu will be a beneficiary.
That Raila has devoted to destroying any rising star from Nyanza and Western shows his poor analytical skills.
