Straw is a really cool Tyler Perry. It's full of my favorite actors... Taraji Henson knocks action-drama out of the park. Since playing Cookie in Empire she reallly got me.

I have been looking for time to finish John Wick series but time is elusive. Great stuff. Hollywood and Tyler Perry Studies have been churning out nice stuff yearly, but can't consume all. I tell folks with no teenage kids to enjoy life by the horns!

Fallen is a crazy mindf**k. Treadstone level. The "Sword and Cross Family" psyc island really resembles The Meadows in the Hanna series. Or actually Sherrinford in the Sherlock [Holmes] series. More like Alcatraz than a "reform school" for delinquents.

Now You See Me: Now You Don't (2025). The Horsemen are back, this time they are starked against evil diamond queen Veronika Vanberg. Rosamund Pike is authentic evil. Fans used to discuss who of her and Lena Headey would have made a better Cersei Lannister in Game of Thrones.
