The head of the environmental protection agency does not believe there is any need to protect the environment.
Scott Pruitt has been busy. The head of the US Environmental Protection Agency has moved to dismantle or delay 30 environmental rules in his first four months on the job, the fastest rollback of that scale the EPA has ever seen, according to the New York Times. Most of these rollbacks were announced with some fanfare. But more quietly, Pruitt has begun to put together a formal program to challenge the scientific consensus on climate change.

These guys are fucking insane. There is a point, a small number of degrees, where the warming will become a feedback loop and we'll be forced to sit back and watch nature carry out it's own adjustments. Hopefully I am dead by then. It will not be pretty.

There is nothing that can be done about climate change right now in USA. there is no political or business will to make changes that may drastically reverse the ultimate disaster that is global warming. Right now those that need to sacrifice are not willing to do so.
2 Celsius warmup is guaranteed. I see a double digits warm up projection before the end of next decade. There was time to act that was in 1970s they time is long gone ..for now we need to wait for fate. The 4 billion Africans will live in a lot of uncertainty and misery

There is still a chance. If they can keep the temperature rise to below 2 degrees C from pre-industrial levels. Above that, it goes into a feedback cycle that nobody can control. Double digit warm-up is not currently foreseen.

They say we may have hit 2 celcius in February 2016 ..now all we need is decade to confirm..there was no way Paris agreement was going to stop 2 degrees Celsius. What needs to happen has to happen big with a big sacrifice to way living in the west. No single company or government is willing to do so..even in Europe their actions are just what is bearable..most scientists who knew this is an issue in the 70s believe it not possible to stop 2 degrees increase
