The number of people discussing this poll is increasing daily with reports that Jubilee is using threats and money in a lethal combination to prevent this polls from hitting the airwaves.
NASA Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has for the first time polled ahead of President Uhuru Kenyatta in a new poll by Ipsos Synovate.
Raila surged ahead in May to poll at 53% against Uhuru’s 41% in a development that is set to raise political temperatures in the country.
The poll indicates Raila will defeat Uhuru in 27 counties, including the three major capitals of Kenya: Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
Raila will also defeat Uhuru in Kisii, Nyamira, Wajir, Kwale, Kilifi, Bungoma, Vihiga, Busia, Kakamega, Machakos, Makueni, Kitui, Migori, Homabay, Siaya, Trans Nzoia, Turkana, Garissa, Taita Taveta, Narok, Tana River, Samburu Kajiado and Lamu counties.
In what will be good news to Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto, the polls reveal the county will vote NASA with the vote nearly evenly divided between the two coalitions. Same trend replicates in Nakuru.
Raila’s vote has also increased in Uasin Gishu, West Pokot, Isiolo, Meru and Baringo Counties.
More bad news for Uhuru as the poll also reveals first time voters are leaning towards NASA than Jubilee with many apprehensive over diminishing opportunities for employment. Hundreds of banks and firms have retrenched employees in the last three years, with Kenyan economy stagnating for a third year in a row.
NASA strategists internal document shows Raila will win the next polls with 53% of the vote on round one.
The polls, to be released later this week, has been leaked to Kenya Today by sources privy to goings on at the research firm.
Ipsos has been under pressure by Jubilee not to release the polls when it became apparent the President is losing to Odinga, who was last month chosen as the joint NASA presidential candidate.
Raila is campaigning on the platform of zero tolerance to corruption, expanding the economy to spur job opportunities for a young skilled generation, deepening devolution as a system of national equity and making education free.
President Uhuru on the other hand is seeking reelection on the platform of bringing all Kenyan communities together.

Pundit, of course!! Any poll that does not support MOAS, has to be fake. What else is new.

A Jubilee vote-hunting rally in Kitui town ended in disarray after a hostile crowd disrupted it and forced the conveners to hurriedly leave.
Trouble began on Tuesday evening when speakers who converged at the Kalundu market on the outskirts of Kitui Township urged the residents to affirm whether or not they supported Jubilee administration in the region, to which they roared back in disagreement.
Shouts of "Wiper, Nasa, Unga" rented the air as the crowd tried to outwit the Jubilee brigade and stop them from penetrating into an Opposition zone.
The frenzied crowd drowned voices of MPs, Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Johnson Sakaja (Nominated), Joe Mutambu (Mwingi central), Rachael Nyamai (Kitui South) and former CS Amos Kimunya who tried in vain to cool down the chanting and shouting mob.
At one moment, Mwingi West parliamentary hopeful Mwende Mwinzi gave in to the pressure and told the rowdy crowd that it was theIr constitutional right to vote for their preferred leaders and parties even if it meant electing National Supper Alliance.
Amid shouts, Mwinzi said time was gone when people elected leaders on the basis of parties' of their affiliation as opposed to their policies and ideologies.
The ruling coalition had organised a road show and a music gala to drum support for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto ahead of the August 8 elections. The road show began in Mwingi region and ended up in Kitui town.
A section of the crowd demanded to be given money, accusing the organisers of being "hirelings aimed at auctioning Kambas to Jubilee."
Heavy presence of uniformed and plain clothed security officers led by Kitui Central OCPD Muthuri Mwongera, kept a close vigil to contain an ugly incident.
Kitui Central parliamentary hopeful Moses Banda and a gospel artist Ms Peace Mulu were also among the team who braved the hostility.
The hostility comes in the wake of allegations that Kitui West MP and Majority Leader in the National Assembly Francis Nyenze, and County gubernatorial aspirant and senator David Musila were leaning on the Jubilee political divide.
However, Nyenze and Musila have denied reports that they were backing re-election of Uhuru.
