Looks like Ruto has given in to Mandago's threats again.

Buzeki should push on if he thinks he has a chance. A governor does not need patronage from the center. He is a little muthamaki in his own right with a domain.

Ruto is just agreeing with his supporters. He is a politician and politicians just follow their supporters not the other way round. His people want Mandago and so the question should be why is Mandago so popular among his people. Buzeki is only using others because they are the ones sidelined by Mandago. Whether Buzeki will suceed will be a matter who has the numbers. On this one it looks like Mandago has the numbers.
Mandago is no fool he know he commands serious support and with he can bully even DP.
Tribal mobilization has no moral ground it is what it is.

The only way to fight tribal kings is threatening their tribal numbers Mandago way. Mandago should beef up his security.
