After talking with my folks in rural areas everyone keeps saying that inflation has hit real hard and the cost of maize has shot up significantly. Cant afford food anymore. Lots of people are running all over looking for food. How did it get to be so bad. Please share your story after you talk with your folks.

People in Busia are running into Uganda to get supplies, while those in MSA have been reduced to eating once a day.

I think the government and the millers bought maize and hoarded the commodity for a crisis to mint money. The strange thing is that we are now past drought season.

RV. Forget about Uluru's ineptitude and corruption. Am talking about rural areas. Cost of a sack is 4000, way beyond the reach of most pple so they started buying half and when that became expensive, so they cut to quarter! Are your neighbors in rural areas facing this?
