Chepkonga one seem to have gone for repeat in Munyaka ward. Now the other one I care about is Starehe one. The rest I don't give a damn.

Compared to the mess we are seeing in ODM; Jubilee which conducted elections in far more places that any party (double ODM) has done a very commendable job. WSR overseeing it totally salvage what had been Tuju unmitigated disaster.

Where are you seeing a mess in ODM?

We had police beating people in Kisumu / Migori to promote the narrative of "violent luos" and that ended when an ultimatum was issued to Uhuru. I have no knowledge of any mess anywhere. ODM is nearly done with the appeals the last one shpuléd have been today. Jublee still has 348 remaining with more candidates giving up and running independent.

The is another lie you are peddling: NASA had more candidates and ran primaries in more places than Jubilee.

In addition you have not acknowledged the role played by the provincial administration in your primaries. I provided more than ample proof of it. So please as you sing praises of Jubilee - the Government Party run by Nkaissery show some moderation and respect for our intelligence. There is no party called Jubilee - just a government briefcase which will perish come September this year when we sack all county commissioners, confiscate government property and send the whole pack of thieves running.

Pundit, how did Ruto forget to nip this "independent candidate" bud when MPs passed the law on party hopping? Was it an oversight? He is making too many blunders including appointing clueless Tuju to run Jubilee.

Ruto is being played like a rock guitar. He thinks he is eliminating his opponents but Jubilee has kept their key men intact and undisturbed. Waiguru is ok. Kiunjuri is fine after Ruto was cheated that he would be VP. The moment he says he will be VP someone else would stand up and defy the alliance - Kibaki and Uhuru style.

The Moi Parallel cannot work in a place with even minimal democracy. Ngilu kept NARC party in her handbag hoping to be propelled to the presidency. It is now a certificate issuing machine for disgruntled candidates. The same with Martha Karua. Kalonzo found ODM-K would not be any helpful to him beyond 2007.

Yes Ruto will have a party. He just forgot to make it functional. Like hold regular party organ meetings and not let the secretariat and the civil service run it. Moi had to make serious changes after 1991 to manage to hold to power in 1992 and 1997. JP joins others like GNU, PNU etc immediately after these elections.

Until Kibaki stole KICC from KANU it had its own independent income and a large number of highly loyal members who had a clear agenda. Let's face it, KANU under Moi had two items on the agenda and that was to keep Kikuyus out of power and to ensure that the Kikuyu - Luo alliance never wakes up. With the coming of Uhuru Kenyatta, Moi effectively dismantled his own party. I usually get in trouble with Raila loyalists when I state that. The prevailing wisdom is that Raila destroyed KANU from within. Ruto too thinks he can seize Jubilee, tame Kikuyus and lead them to the seat of the throne where they will crown him. Raila thought so too.

Independent candidature was granted by courts after governors ran there. I think Ruto has managed to pull what is largely been seen as free and fair jubilee nomination. The sore losers running as independent will not make it. Let talk september. Ruto is set to lead the biggest party in Kenya that will guide him to 2022. There will always been disgruntled folks - it not possible to have it all - what Ruto has is enough - He has Uhuru in GEMA doing his bidding - and Jubilee party to herd all cows until 2022.

I don't see any blunder in Ruto meticolous plan for 2022...temporary setbacks like Tuju big screw up which Ruto had to personally go there and ran the show.

As for our Omollo - he is very creative and imaginative guy - don't take him seriously. Quite the specimen :) :) and is all over so you really can't pin him down on anything; he'll create new facts as quickly as he discarded them - like now kiunjuri - something he didn't even know till he read it here :)

Jaguar given the cert as Maina Kamanda told to retire. Now when can close this chapter. Chepkonga got his chance. This was good nomination for Jubilee - we will find out in August just how good.
