Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has said he will sue National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale for allegedly linking him to embezzlement of public funds.
Mr Kabogo on Wednesday described Mr Duale’s remarks as an insult to him and a lack of respect to mothers.
“Let us stop politics of insults. After uttering the words, he called me to say that it was a slip of the tongue. I will deal with him legally," said Mr Kabogo.
Mr Duale uttered the words during celebration to mark the third Mara Day at Maasai Mara University where he accused Governor Kabogo and Governors Isaac Ruto (Bomet) and Jackson Ranguma (Kisumu) of ignoring summons by Senate to answer audit queries.
Mr Kabogo asked Mr Duale to address wrangles within the URP party and stay away from affairs of TNA.
RESPECT MOTHERS
Mr Kabogo told Mr Duale to show respect to mothers in the country.
"You can not mention people’s names and saying money does not belong to their mother. Why can’t you first say it not yours or your mother’s,” a furious Kabogo said.
The Governor asked Mr Duale to stop talking about him and the summons by Senate, saying he is an accountable leader.
He said he is answerable to the Kiambu County Assembly, and claimed that he has honoured Senate’s summons but they have regularly refused to give him a hearing.
He said has sent his deputy Gerald Githinji and the county finance executive at the Senate but they were turned away.
The Governor said transparency and accountability must prevail in the issuance of the funds to ensure it serves the intended purpose.

Duale will continue until he loses his position and then will turn on his masters. He has a record of turning against those who help him. Note the saying: The Devil hates the Creator!

Last time I read from Kabogo he was advising mothers over 35 to get married before they qualify for Public office no?

C'mon guys between Duale and Kabogo, who has matusi. We need to get a sense of humor and a thicker skin. IF Duale tells a stubborn Governor, 'ya mama, you better bring your behind to the senate flow and answer this....', Duale is correct. These governor's are afraid of a fatal senate ruling that even a court cannot reverse.
Kabogo is a known thug.

I think he is the unofficial government spokesman. If you are on the wrong side of the government, is the one send to sought you out. He has thing with his mouth and piece someone off. but he is people.
