Title: Charity Ngilu Vows to Support NASA
Post by: Omollo on March 29, 2017, 03:32:50 PM
There was a confession followed by a plea for forgiveness which was granted immediately. We have Ngilu running for Governor alongside Musila and the incumbent - Malombe all staying loyal.

Then we have Wavinya Ndeti. She is NOT part of NASA but is crying louder than Bereaved Kalonzo. Kenya has perfected psychophancy to a become the best. She is doing Jubilee's bidding, getting their money and hoping to ride on Kalonzo's coattails to the governorship. So Machakos shall always have a governor who has body and soul outside the tent of the party that sponsored her/him?

She's a light-weight so there is no reason to waste my Schwarzpulver (gunpowder) on her. Just reminding that Wavinya Ndeti made a Post Election Pact with Jubilee.

Ukambani leaders on Tuesday piled on the pressure on the National Super Alliance to name Wiper chief Kalonzo Musyoka the presidential flagbearer.

Former Lands minister Charity Ngilu, Machakos Senator David Musila, Kitui Governor Julius Malombe, Chama Cha Uzalendo leader Wavinya Ndeti, Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kiala and People’s Trust Party leader Mutua Katuku spoke at a rally in Emali in Makueni

Mrs Ngilu apologised to residents “for betraying the Kamba in 2013 by opposing Mr Musyoka”.

“I cost the opposition the 2013 election by delivering 100,000 votes to the other side. I will never do that again,” she said.

Others at the meeting were Mr Musyoka, governors Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni) and his deputy Adelina Mwau, Nairobi deputy governor Jonathan Mueke, Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jr and several Members of Parliament.

Prof Kibwana said the Wiper leader would tackle corruption and develop Kenya.

He said the Kamba should make use of their 2.5 million votes to propel Mr Musyoka to State House.

“We don’t want to see these votes go to waste,” Prof Kibwana said.

Ms Ndeti revisited the 2013 agreement in which Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga was to be the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy flagbearer and then pass the baton to Mr Musyoka this year.

“It is time the deal is honoured and Kalonzo flies the opposition flag,” she said.

Mr Musyoka said the solidarity exhibited by lower eastern leaders on Tuesday had given him confidence to go for the top seat.

He described Kamba leaders not supporting him as traitors and untrustworthy.

Senator Kilonzo Jr said: “To Ukambani leaders who are not with us, you are finished.”

East Africa Legislative Assembly member Peter Mathuki said he was ready to step down for either Ms Ndeti or Mr Kiala in the race for Machakos governor if Wiper primaries showed that he was not the strongest aspirant “in order to promote party unity and guarantee Mr Musyoka victory in the presidential race”.

“Kalonzo has sacrificed enough for others. It is time they also sacrificed for him,” he said.

He made an MoU with Raila. NASA has more parties than the two in 2013.

FYI information Kalonzo and supporters are satisfied with 2013 line-up. Their noise is about Mudavadi. They have suspicions that Raila plans to anoint him as the flagbearer with Kalonzo deputy. That explains the heightened noise from Wiper and FORD K.

This won't rescue Jubilee. You should start honouring some of the promises you made to all manner of people. Show us the 7000 Km roads put up by the national Government. Where are the 5 Million jobs, Five Stadia, Laptops, ????

Then honour it. Seem wiper are dead serious. Kalonzo knows NASA needs him..he need to play very very hard ball.

Hours later, Wiper Secretary-General Hassan Omar addressed a press conference that was to be attended by Mr Musyoka.

However, Mr Musyoka left minutes before the address, saying he had to attend an urgent meeting.

Mr Omar affirmed Mr Nyenze’s statement but added that Wiper would “play inside Nasa even if Kalonzo Musyoka is not chosen to fly the Nasa flag”.      http://www.nation.co.ke/news/Wiper-Party-Nasa-Kalonzo-Musyoka/1056-3869514-alksbaz/index.html

Have they ever been that much of a problem?  What's happening in places like Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Pokot and Laikipia?   Check out this old thread as well: http://www.nipate.org/index.php?topic=1999.msg13801#msg13801

What is it called again? Attacking a straw man? It has three features:
1. Stand up a Strawman
2. Attack a Strawman
3. "knock down a strawman

Musalia Mudavadi has distanced himself from calls by Wiper leaders for NASA talks to respect the Cord agreement.

Francis Nyenze, who is National Assembly minority leader and Kitui West MP, told the Star in an interview that the Cord MoU must be part of the talks.

The MoU demanded that Opposition chief Raila Odinga (ODM) supports Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential bid after serving the first term, which was expected to end this year.

The MoU brought together Raila, Kalonzo and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula (Bungoma Senator).

But Raila did not win the 2013 election.

Mudavadi, who is Amani leader, noted in an address to journalists on Wednesday that he was not part of the deal.

“I was not part of the agreement signed by Cord parties so I cannot comment on it,” he said during a meeting at his party's headquarters in Nairobi.

NASA signed an agreement that nullifies all others among member parties after the dissolution of the 11th Parliament.

Five months to the polls, the National Super Alliance is in turmoil and facing an acrimonious split that could hand victory to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Despite a facade of unity and camaraderie among the four NASA affiliates, Wiper declared either Kalonzo is named the alliance presidential candidate — or "NASA is dead."

Multiple interviews by the Star have lifted the lid on deep animosity, rivalry and mistrust among partners — ODM, ANC, Ford Kenya and Wiper — that could soon explode, killing the opposition's unity dream.

For the first time since NASA's formation, Nyenze publicly insisted the 2013 MoU must be honoured to allow Kalonzo fly the Opposition flag.

But Mudavadi said parties in the National Super Alliance are united and will transform Kenya after winning the August 8 election.

"In Nasa, we are working together for a common goal. Everyone has his strategy. I don’t need to stand on every podium to say I should be the NASA flag bearer,” said the Amani boss.

He added that everyone in the party had a right to use his strategy to campaign for himself.

“When Kalonzo stands up and says he should be a flag bearer, maybe he wants to up his stake,” he said.

Mudavadi said Opposition parties will focus on the primaries st for April and choose a flag bearer before May 10
