The White House says President Donald Trump made more than $150 million in income in 2005 and paid $38 million in income taxes that year.
The acknowledgment came as MSNBC host Rachel Maddow prepared to announce the returns on her show. She detailed those forms on her show Tuesday night along with Pulitzer Prize-winning tax journalist David Cay Johnston, who had obtained the documents.
