Apparently plans are quite advanced. Uhuru learned from the master. The "clamour" is coming from "wanainchi.

I thought GEMA was going to wait until they actually win to start the process of discarding Ruto.  It appears they know Ruto is completely ropped in and he does not have any exit paths.  If I were Ruto I would play along but do everything behind the scenes to make sure Jubilee loses.
