Where is 4 Architect again to explain why our roads can't take certain loads. Why is it that when I am in Asia, I see high body trucks load sand and concrete up to the top and have installed special tyres and extra axles to support the load and the roads stand their ground.
When a truck tyre explodes on Kenyan roads, it leaves a huge pot hole which starts to expand and deepen - in the process causing more accidents and deaths. Yet if a tyre explodes on a Pakistani, Chinese, Thai or Malay road, nothing happens to the road.
