there is similarity but I bet you no shared traits in integrity. Ruto is a testosterone machine that needs calibration. You know in Wall street one hedge fund manager was giving his employees estrogen so that he could balance the testosterone. He believed testosterone was making his male workers take a lot of risk thus he hedged this risk by treating them with Estrogen

Ruto is all words but lacks substance and that's why he's a wife beater and has no qualms about extra-judicial and mass killings because he's a weak character.
Estrogen is the female equivalent of testosterone. More angry than testosterone plus women take more financial risks than men. Steroids reduces testosterone. Sounds like this hedge fund manager wants to burn them out thoroughly kaput.

Yes Ruto lacks conviction of what he stands for. I think to him power is a means to an end. I wonder if his poor background damaged him. He sometimes comes across like a man looking for buy class and acceptance. I watched YK92 documentary and it seems the only reason he got where he was is because the group wanted someone with good oratory skills and could talk all the three languages well. I hear he works hard but my thing is focused on anything or his just reactionary.
I met someone who schooled with Gichuru former KPL MD and he told me Gichuru was so poor that he walked over 20 miles a day to and from high school as his parents could not afford boarding fees. So this may have led the man to become obsessed with money to appoint where he could anything to steal money
Ruto has really damaged his brand by stealing openly.. Without RV voters as bargaining chip he is done. I think ruto may be one person in Kenya history that will end up in a very bad place..

1.People are thieves because they are in a situation where they can steal and get away with it
Ruto, Gichuru, Waiguru etc steal because they have access to political players/powers who
place them above the law for a cut of the loot.
in countries governed by rule of law people steal much much less because of the consequences
So I don't agree with you saying shida tupu childhood/backgrounds explain why x or y steals

I think we do people who grew up in poverty injustice when we blame corruption on it. Lots of people who grew up poor are doing just fine and doing it clean. There is no justifying what these guys do. Kamwana's own relatives, who grew up filthy rich, have also been caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
By now you know nothing builds a brand in Kenya like industrial scale looting. It does not damage the brand.

Do not get me wrong.. I am saying that growing poor can lead to someone being a money hoarder. It seems the drive for Someone like Biwott, Ruto and Gichuru is to make sure they never experience the poverty.. it is the same phenomena you see in states with the older people who alive during great depression hoarding stuff.. You can find millionaires hoarding food because subconsciously they want to have enough
The reason why the prince wont bother grabbing land is because he has already satisfied that need.. he won't even case every corruption deal that comes to his table.. I think the most stable leaders we have seen in Africa were those that emerged from a middle class background.. like Kaunda ..

Perhaps. I haven't witnessed a humanitarian side to him. Maybe he doesn't pity or empathize with those suffering or in poverty because he came from such a background and "made it" ignorant at the fact politics is like the lottery- a lucky break.
