Treasury has re-introduced heavy taxation of keg http://www.businessdailyafrica.com/Corporate-News/Treasury-hits-bottom-end-beer-market-with-tax-on-Senator-keg/539550-3396134-djmfmn/index.html . The second generation alcohol which the government was trying to get rid off will regain popularity. This is a serious mistake don't know what treasury and uhuru were thinking and all those mps who approved the bill. Furthermore how can a serious company invest in a country where the tax regime changes annually?

Most Mpigs cant read beyond 5th grade, so what do you expect.

This is not a mistake; it pure madness; this second time they are doing this; and from now on you'll hear of deaths.

That would have been disastrous. I think going forward even brands like tuskers and pilsners will be sold as keg.

Yeah - plus 30,000 farmers that depend on sorghum farming - we really need to start making products from crops that truly thrive here...sorghum and finger millet for example...will do well in most places, are disease resistance and can make whatever barley or wheat does.
