It just stuck me like a million wasps:There is something seriously wrong with Kenyans when it comes to fire. Kenyans set fire to anything and everything at the least excuse. Kenyans use fire to solve most of  their disagreements.

It could be a neighbor who hates your guts and lights up your hovel or palace (it doesn't matter). They lit up Moi's palace in RV during PEV.

Fire has been used as a weapon as since man first learned how to control it. Nothing special here.
