BARINGO: Tension is high in Kabartonjo, Baringo County as police confront residents demonstrating against Deputy President William Ruto's visit to region.
The residents accuse Jubilee government of unfulfilled promises and sackings of public servants from their Kalenjin community.
They have cited David Kimaiyo and Yatich Kangugo both of whom were recently relieved of their duties from the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA). Ruto is scheduled to have rallies at Tiaty, Kambi Wakulima and Marigat in Baringo County later today (Saturday).
