Kenya pulled off a stunning 30-7 upset victory over Fiji in the final of the Singapore Sevens on Sunday to capture their first World Series event and join the growing list of contenders for the Olympic gold medal in Rio.

"Winning this final means more to me than the tries," Injera said. "I'm not focussed on them, because the ultimate goal is to medal at the Olympics."
Kenyans have been getting exponentially better since this last minute win thriller over Zimbabwe at the end of last year ....

The win is good, but it conceals a major problem. Ayimba's continued tinkering will deny the team the sharpness and chemistry they need in Rio. They were lucky to get by Argentina, who always commit anal rape on the Kenyans(I'd rather face NZ, SA, anyone else).
Injera is an opportunist, who ends up hogging the limelight from the workhorses of the team, Amonde, Ayodi, Lugonzo and others. Those guys break their backs and he picks up the hardware. He is a little like Thierry Henry or Peter Dawo.
