Title: Uhuru's State of the Nation Speech Disrupted
Post by: Omollo on March 31, 2016, 04:01:32 PM
I am watching it. It looks like Muturi is eager to make it a "Luo" thing. Having found Bosire ( a Kisii) "out of order" he failed to kick him out like the others. All those he kicked out are Luos.

What was CORD beef. I cannot find any reason?

SGR to open a new corridor outside the Nakuru-ELd-Malaba

SGR will pass Narok, Bomet, Kericho, Kisii, Kisumu, Kakamega, Bungoma and finally Malaba.

Uhuru should have brought another list of corrupt individuals from EACC. This way he would have won the hearts of the MPs and senators like last year :D :D :D :D

CORD wants to join the eating.

Greenfields Terminal was just snatched from them (RAO) so I guess they're (he's) mighty pissed off.

Oh yeah, and they need to keep the momentum going for next years election.

Criticism is great because it develops ideas, but its gotta be constructive.

The Bill of Rights does not make any such qualification, does it?

The Opposition has a right to criticize with a view to bring down the sitting government. As has been pointed out before, The Opposition is NOT a government think tank "to offer solutions". If the government cannot find "solutions" the only option is to step down and allow the Opposition to form government and provide solutions.

If Jubilee wishes to be a CORD government Think Tank when in opposition after 2017, so be it.

Digital migration a big success.
This was bound to happen with or without Jubilee.

Is the WEF ranking accurate?

There are two key problems  – both of which we touched on in a previous report that looked at the WEF’s research methodology.

Firstly, no standardised tests were conducted to assess the quality of ... education in the 149] countries surveyed.

Secondly, the ranking was derived from an annual “Executive Opinion Survey” carried out by the WEF. This opinion survey draws on interviews with various unidentified “business leaders”.

It may be the best but if most families can't afford it its useless.
Day laborers kids can't afford basic education.
I have been fundraising left and right for kids to access primary and secondary education while public money is spent callously buying $100k cars.
