Should have happened in 1963. But better late than never. It shouldn't even take forever to come up with. A number, a street name, a city, a county, maybe postal code.

Yeah. I don't know why Posta has never done this. They rely on archaic system where you have box the nearest town.

They inherited it. It is the cheapest way to move mail. But a home address system doesn't eliminate the posta boxes. So it just comes down to lack of imagination and initiative. Done right, it can actually generate a new class of businesses both online and brick and mortar.

A wonderful idea. Why are they claiming it will cost so much. Counties have an obligation to name and label streets. It is not necessary to go the Swedish way and drop mail inside every house immediately.
This may give Posta a new lease of life. I am however afraid the competition will be huge
