Title: Nyayo:Corruption Is Getting Out Of Hand
Post by: Kim Jong-Un's Pajama Pants on March 07, 2016, 05:18:30 PM
Moi would know a thing or two about it.  He knows how he was able to sustain it for 24 years.  The feeling expressed here maybe that the jubilant approach is unsustainable.  Affidavits and the like are breaking the code of silence.  Giving the government a bad image.

RETIRED President Daniel Moi yesterday broke his long silence, warned that corruption was getting out of hand and urged Kenyans to help the government to wage the war on graft.

Speaking at a church service at Kapsabet, Moi said corruption was undermining service delivery in government and it should not be condoned anywhere.

“Ongen ole chorset ko kiy ne ya . . . amwochini Christianik tugul kotoret serikali kotar kii ya (You know corruption is bad . . . I am appealing to all Christians to help the government eliminate this bad thing)”, said Moi.

Moi, who has kept off active politics and has been spending a lot of his time at his Kabarak home, urged all Kenyans, especially public servants, to help fight corruption.

“If you are senior government anywhere, please help in stopping this bad thing that is giving the government a bad image,” Moi added.

Moi couldn't give a sh!t about corruption. He's on another mission.

Who's the top suspect of corruption in Jubilee?

Therein lies your answer, of why Moi is speaking out.

Yep.  What is remarkable though is the gall.  Kroll report is in the public domain.  Seriously though, nobody cares, least of all wanjiku.  She is going the polls to choose who has the rights to rape her.

Chutzpah is the word that comes to mind.   (Senile comedy would not be entirely inappropriate as an alternative.)

Still, Moi's call fits in well with the times we live in---times in which Ruto refers to Raila as a "land grabber" and people actually listen.
