He seems like the only option after Raila. Latest polls show he is still popular in his clan earning him 350k vvotes. After 2017 cord will die a natural death and mudavadi may inherit this base

As long as he relies on Maragoli votes,even getting the Vihiga senate may be a tall order.

Kenyan voters are conservatives and if they look around and only seem amiable Mudamba they may vote for him
