Right now Raila has sensed that the public is tired of corruption and he can nail Uhuru before 2017. From what I am hear the chatter is that voter apathy in central and Eastern will be high. Turnout will drop to low 70s.. meanwhile Western, Lower eastern and Coast turnout may go up at least 8 percent

The thieves wanted to know how much Raila knows. Since he did not seem to know much they simply let go and the so called investigation would come to not.
I have no idea why Raila did not publish the details of the thievery and the trail leading to Brazil and South Africa? May be he is saving it for crescendo, who knows? Its the stuff that gets warrants of arrest handed out for presidents
