Title: I am no longer a Kenyan. I am just a Kenyan because i was born there

I was looking at pictures of my villagemates and it dawned on me after 30 years abroad I cannot identify or claim to know my village. I have been to my village only for 4 days and not full days but about 8 hours. meaning I get there at 7 am and leave at 3 pm. I have been in Kenya for the only 3 months combined. I visit Kenya every 6 years if I am able to but I can go for 10 years without visiting. So I have to say even though I love my homeland I am a foreigner in the land of my birth.

Most Europeans moved and never looked back. Why should you?

its very easy to create kenya it takes along time to create kenyans.
