Title: KSh. 37,500 Bar Soap?
Post by: Kim Jong-Un's Pajama Pants on October 18, 2015, 03:27:17 PM
A typo perhaps?  Or another day at the office?

Either way, it looks like Wanjiku is not to be denied a bar soap, 1,000 to be specific, by El Niño.

In the El Niño response strategy, a copy of which the Sunday Nation has obtained, the government plans to spend Sh37.5 million to buy 1,000 bar soaps – which comes to Sh37,500 per piece.

Another case of padding contracts with zeros. This is terrible. Jubilee is essentially taking us back to KANU looting spree.

They are still spending???
Its common for one to feel rich after selling a kaplot, but soon the cash runs out and you are too ashamed to admit so you continuel partying hoping things will improve soon and friends wont find out.

Even when the soap is priced right, I am still scratching my head why this commission needs 1,000 bars of soap.
