Title: I miss America, not too sure why

Strange as this may sound, I liked the company of military officials residing among civilian population. Something heroic and honorable about that. My mother used to tell me when she was a little girl after the Korean war, the American soldiers would give their lunch away to the village kids.

I was told however, those in the marines were in secret societies. I do wonder if this kind of membership gets inherited generations down.
