I doubt that you will hear much any time soon, if ever. Also keep in mind that in Kenya, people stay in "remand" only if they cannot buy their way out of a trial. Even if the charge is of murder.
This brings to mind something I think is a huge problem with Kenyan journalists: the inability to stay with a story. Reporting is largely limited to "this is the scandal (usually corruption) of the week" or the routine "X said/did Y today" and "that other thing also happened over there".
