In Baltimore. Eerily familiar. The same sentiments leading to the genocide in Kenya.

I'm feeling calm but not safe. There's too much poverty in Baltimore like Nairobi. Things could get potentially ugly.

I'm hearing things on CNN like "this isn't the Baltimore I know" the f are they on about ?

The people living here are crazy, poor and capable of looting. Feels like Nairobi.

I'm in a relatively rich suburb with surveillance and very high fences, but I can hear occasional banging on the fence. My neighbours are quiet like mice. That's different. I feel too white.

I'm just thinking whether it would be safe for me to go out tomorrow for groceries. Providing there are grocery stores that haven't been looted. Provisions in Baltimore are going to be low I suspect from the looting.

I need to stock up before the looting gets worse. This could drag on.

Please advise.
