Did Maduro's own people betray him?

Such an operation is hardly possible without betrayal. For a successful infiltration, reconnaissance, and capture, American special forces would need:

Real-time intelligence — exact location, movement schedules, security schemes
Neutralizing security systems — disabling alarms, cameras, blocking communications

Who could have betrayed him?

· Top military officials — commanders with access to security plans
· Presidential security — those who know all procedures and vulnerabilities
· Political elites — who received guarantees of preserving their status or assets
· Technical specialists — responsible for communications and security systems

Motives for betrayal

· Financial — multi-million dollar accounts, real estate, business interests
· Blackmail — threats to families, children, possibly located abroad
· Fear — conviction of inevitable defeat

💯 Such an operation becomes possible when your own people betray you. Elites are sold out — either for thirty pieces of silver in Western accounts, or out of fear for their children who live and study abroad

Absolutely shocking
This smells of Great betrayal but US is just on another level pulling this under Chinese noses, their delegation was in caracas just next to the presidential palace, you wonder what cant US do, here in Kenya they want to take Duale for the fraud in Minnesota I guess Ruto just give them peacefully and all other officials they want in the government.

Nothing shocking. It has nothing to do with USA or Trump.

Never trust your bodyguards, military generals  or commanders.

Infact,Maduro is even lucky,In Haiti the president's men killed him just like Compaore killed his friend Sankara in 1987.In Liberia in 1989,They sold the president to rebel groups who cut his ears, penis and sodomized him while later paraded his dead body in the streets of Monrovia. In DRC,The presidential guards killed Kabila in his office...

If people reject you while facing foreign animosity,Its better ti resign.

Maduro is even lucky..

Jungle rule. Looks likely China will take Taiwan and Putin will overrun Kyiv in 2026.

It seems they only captured Maduro but the government is still in charge. VP seems to have taken over.
Hope Venezuela doesn't spin into Libya or Iraq type chaos.

His own soldiers sold him.Did you not attend sunday school or Madrassa?

Jesus and his disciples.

Matthew 26:34
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, Peter—this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me.”
Peter said to him, “Even if I must die with you, I will not deny you!”

Matthew 26:48-50 (NIV): "Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: 'The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.' Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, 'Greetings, Rabbi!' and kissed him. Jesus replied, 'Friend, do what you have come for.' Then the men seized Jesus and arrested him."

If you have ever worked with the police, spent time in a military barracks or with presidential guards,You can never trust them.
Even in the most advanced democracies,Only a fool of a president thinks he is in charge. We saw Kennedy killed like a dog in the streets.

Well Maduro's VP has taken over as acting president.

Being captured was just stupid for a guy like Maduro. There is ample precedent from Noriega, Iran, etc - US has used thug tactics for decades. Iran supreme leader has doubles to avoid US and Israeli attacks or capture. Only a fool can ignore such clear and open threat.

Top defense lawyers already angling to represent Maduro, CNN legal analyst says
From CNN's Zoe Sottile

Top criminal defense lawyers are already angling to represent Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela captured by US forces to face charges in Manhattan federal court, according to CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig.

Maduro’s legal case is attractive to high-powered defense lawyers for a few reasons, Honig told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Saturday.

First, the case is “extremely high stakes.”

Additionally, the Venezuelan president “is obviously a very wealthy individual who can pay top dollar for his defense team.”

The case is also going to be “massively high profile” — and “big-time criminal defense lawyers like to be involved in big-time cases.”

Finally, the case will likely involve “novel constitutional and international law arguments” that “some of these defense lawyers would like a chance to argue,” Honig said.

“We’ve really seen very little like this,” he said.
