I believe Apple is more overpriced than AI startups like OpenAI. They are 10 years late still running Siri with Bing API. :o
Apple does not even have a cloud infra to run its models (if they had any!), nor any meaningful data collection.

Subramanya will report to SVP software... in that case why fire Giannandrea - if they are happy with AI as an iOS feature?

Apple's AI problem is the same as traditional auto's EV problem. They are yet to crack batteries let alone the supercharger, AD, robotaxi partnership multipliers Tesla and BYD enjoy.

Apple is Toyota. iPhone/iOS is almost a dumb terminal running on Gemini.
