This doesn't matter AT ALL. Riggy doesn't need the Luo vote, he is barred from running.
They tried to stop Kalonzo from speaking - they barely allowed him 2 minutes - while Orengo and Junets spoke for quite longer.
It is Kalonzo they have to deal with.
But they are in serious trouble all on their own. Nor did they let Babu Owino speak - fearing he would be cheered and embarass them.

Ruto has a very tall order attempting to colonize the Luo.

That’s true, Luo and ODM and especially Raila orchestrated the removal of Gachagua and have been abusing him on a daily basis. It really doesn’t matter and instead Luos should support Kalonzo for faithfully deputizing Raila even when it looked hopeless.

In typical Kenya politics, Wanga’s response to Kahiga is also very tribal and inflammatory almost worse than than what Kahiga said. I saw Uhuru mourning with Raila’s family and community, he did it as an individual. I was sad and mourned Raila, it had nothing to do with Kikuyus. How does Wanga then make Kahiga’s statement about Gachagua and the whole community? She is trying so hard to catch kasongo’s eye. I will give her my unsolicited advice, Kasongo doesn’t care about her if she is not bringing any votes, he will select another Kikuyu if he thinks it will help him 2027, if I was Wanga, I would be careful not to burn too many bridges.

I think folks are bitter because Raila got a full state funeral, unlike Moi, Kibaki, and Kenyatta. Even Odingas got money from the state for their personal expenses.
