No longer a Ghost project/white elephant!
Kibaki regime cronies syphoned billions, then Uhuru outdid Kibaki and stole all the money allocated to the project. Uhuru went further and subdivided and sold to private groups and pocketed a lot of money in the process.

24 years of Moi, 10 years of Kibaki, and 10 years of Uhuru were very devastating for Kenya. Kenya should say never again to electing less than average dimwits to lead!

Hope it's economically viable and not another harebrained loser like SGR. Together with Konza and SEZs.

The things that actually need doing are HARD.

If it's easy not likelt to be a winner.

SGR is no longer a loser. Uganda is constructing 1700 km to Malaba, and Kenya, in the next phase, is doing Naivasha to Malaba. That connection from the Kenyan coast to the DRC, Rwanda, and the Uganda region will flood all countries with travellers and goods/businesses. In the long term, EA will benefit immensely. Even the current Nairobi-Mombasa route is 3 years away from breaking even based on millions daily banked by SGR!
