That was one of the worst displays of poverty Olympics, a manifestation of visionless leadership, bottomless feeding, low expectations and a shameful display of how low Kenya has sank. What are kids with advanced degrees going to do with sewing machines or sausage trollies? Its so pathetic that some of the kids were singing “wantam” as soon as they left the gate. The musicians are now coming out claiming that they were forced to sing “tutam”. Kasongo’s tokenism is outdated and idiotic, Kenyans are looking for real structural and institutional changes to end corruption and mediocrity, Kasongo is entrenching both, do you know how much 17billion stolen from ecitizen can do for Kenyans? This is what visionary leadership and empowerment looks like.. https://x.com/babalucky254/status/1954149417461682396?s=46&t=3-3-_ehcZbukDCK7hNe5LA

Jealousy and bitterness can suck the life out of folks. Ruto has given out fertiliser and training and revolutionised Kenya's agriculture more than Ibrahim Traoré. There are over 100K chicken farmers in Kenya who regularly buy chicks, eggs, and insight from his massive chicken farms in 5 counties. Those young people and folk at the White House were Ghetto people from 49 Nairobi groups, mostly from slums, and needed help to advance their small businesses. Those seeking Higher education, and especially those from poor backgrounds, now go to universities with little to no money courtesy of the new funding model. The small teething problems will soon fizzle out, and millions will benefit from education with no monetary stress, unlike in the past. The dignity of free universal healthcare to top it off is changing the lives of not only those at the bottom but most groups in Kenya. Burkina Faso has a GDP of 23B. Ruto since elected in 2022 has extended Kenya's GDP by almost 23 Billion. Comparing Ruto and Traore is like comparing Night and day!
Kenya's GDP is estimated to be $121 billion in 2024 according to the World Bank. In terms of Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), it's estimated to be $401.36 billion. World Economics estimates that Kenya's 2025 GDP will be $532 billion in PPP terms. The country's GDP has been experiencing growth, with estimates for 2025 showing a GDP growth of 4.8%

You are not a very serious person!!! What does giving sausage trorries to hand-picked supporters do the 20 million unemployed youths? Traore is starting from almost nothing after being a colony of France and exploitation for years but you can clearly see his vision to liberate his country. I am the last person to be jealous of Kasongo, I was the first to say that he is a slave to Moi type politics. It’s simple, surround yourself with a few thieving friends, invade and loot from every sector in Kenya, handout some tokens to a few people from the stolen money. He is also using the police to intimidate and kill Kenyans, use stolen money to buy the usual political harlots like Raila. The only problem is that majority of Kenyans are now woke and can see through him, as usual, Kenyans will take the handouts because they are desperate. All these things you are touting here are your own creation or talking points, no one and that’s including Kalenjins is feeling the benefits of Kasongo leadership. This week, I cannot even count at how many people that are reaching out because of debilitating hospital bills. I will always give Kenyans credit though, they are resilient and will withstand Kasongo, they are still working hard despite the hardships, this will come to pass.

I wonder what you would say if Ruto managed 7% growth like Kibaki.
But why can't Dr Ruto run similar schemes as FPE, HELB,NHIF, etc with 10X Kibaki's budget?
How does he merit the ululations from you? ¯\(ツ)/¯
If you were objective and not a cheerleader you would see he deserves a D in both politics (human rights, etc) and economics.

The people in your village again vehemently disagree with you. Affordable Housing in Limuru has changed the town's landscape, with thousands of people benefiting in so many ways. Almost 5K youth are busy working, and markets are being built for thousands of women. Not Just in Limuru but all over Kenya. African tradition is about fathers splitting land to sons and recently to daughters, and as a result, there are millions of small subsistence farmers and land fragmentation that was threatening Kenya's food security because farms are not big enough to produce meaningful products. When humans move and live in clusters, land fragmentation stops in the long run, and agricultural management of Kenya becomes simple. The World bank is estimating when Housing and markets mature. Kenya GDP may expand by over $100 billion in the next 10-15 years from economic activities associated with it. People of Kiambu, like most Kenyans, have not seen such constructions everywhere, especially the dualing of roads, affordable health, affordable houses, markets, etc., done in a very short period of time. Let's compare notes in 2031!

You are peddling misinformation again. Compare Kibaki and Ruto in the same years in office. Kenya's GDP growth in 2004 was 4.3%, according to the U.S. Department of State. This was the strongest growth the country had experienced since 1999. The manufacturing sector also saw strong growth, contributing significantly to the overall economic expansion.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Overall Growth:
Kenya's real GDP grew by 4.3% in 2004
Kenya's GDP growth in 2025 is projected to be around 4.8-5.3%. The Mastercard Economics Institute projects a 4.7% growth rate, while the World Bank and Reuters report indicates a 4.9% growth in the first quarter and a potential 5.3% for the year.

Freebies have never worked to push up an economy. Come easy, go easy. Most of those boda bodas will soon be on the market for sale.
Btw, where is this budget for the freebies beig dished out by Ruto? Who acounts for it? Does parliament, the budget maker set this huge sums aside for freebies?

There is nothing that angers Kenyans more than those affordable housing schemes. Tax people who will never benefit from the houses to house those who never asked for it, worked for it or deserved it. He should have probably floated a bond and borrow Money from Kenyans to do the housing thing but Kasongo as usual is a brainless thieve. If he is running on free housing, he has already lost the election, I haven’t talked to anyone in Limuru or Kenya who speaks favorably about free housing.

Internet siasa is different, but on the ground, Dr. Ruto is the king of Kings. I hear saying WANTAM all over Kenya is becoming dangerous. The citizens will caution you, but if you continue, folks may easily put you to sleep. You will be the odd one out lol! By mid 2027 when all the projects will be visible in every constituency in Kenya, tribal alignment and realignment will disappear. As a matter of fact, I see many politicians gravitating to him late 2027, so they can get his endorsement in 2032 because beyond that for decades Ruto will be regarded as the best President ever!

Most mwafrika taxes are freebies to politicians, politically connected tenderpreneurs, and most public servants just scratching their balls in offices to collect bribes and per diems. For this group of ticks, we never say sijui the freebies never help them.
Only when hasoras get some crumbs.

That is not scientific because, even if you talked to 1 or 10 people, hard data in pictures, comments, and video evidence shows otherwise. People in Limuru, led by their popular MP believe Ruto is God-sent. Even MP was told by Limuru residents, "If you leave Ruto's Government, we leave you hanging dry."
-
Once these affordable housing come to be, the landlords of these old dilapidated and not fit for habitation in these outpost towns will have to go back t0p pre 2007 rents.
Anybody who can afford 5-20K for rent to own in town cannot continue living in such shitholes.
Thugs have really grabbed all these prime plots which had been lying idle across kwinya. The high rise 5 plus storeys are most economic land use for these mburotis.
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has obtained court orders blocking several individuals from selling or transferring several parcels of land in Limuru town, Kiambu County, earmarked for the construction of the affordable housing project.
The commission moved to court after the individuals claiming to own the land wrote to the National Land Commission (NLC), alleging unlawful interference with the said parcels and, at the same time, demanding compensation of Sh6.7 billion.
EACC said in court documents that the parcels, in Limuru town and Kamirithu, with a cumulative value of approximately Sh47 million, belong to the state and had been set aside for housing of civil servants.
One of the individuals, Mr Joseph Kinyanjui Mwai, wrote to the NLC in May 2019, demanding compensation of Sh6.7 billion in respect of several plots in Limuru Township.

Your credibility ends when you call the Limuru MP popular, a guy who hired goons to attack a funeral, something that has not happened in Mt Kenya even during Moi era. The guy is lucky that he is not recalled otherwise like many in mt Kenya, they know that this is their last term. They are now kissing Kasongo’s ass to get paid for retirement, Limuru people are not stupid, they also know that buttering Kasongo’s fragile ego means money but when it comes to voting, he is DOA. People with a modicum of common sense know that Moi tokenism is not going to work in modern Kenya.. https://x.com/spicefmke/status/1954778812811513873?s=46&t=3-3-_ehcZbukDCK7hNe5LA

There are online internet politicians [Know-it-all types like miguna] and those on the ground with people. Kibwana, Maraga, Miguna, and the rest are good at speaking with elitism but cannot address the needs of the young folks, mama mboga, and boda boda folks in a meaningful way. Kibwana was Governor for two terms but left his county poorer than ever! He couldn't use his brain to provide even water or a small group of women and Boda Boda with business ideas.

Jaduong is talking to internet idiots, but regular Kenyans go to the hospital for free. They see results in healthcare, cost of living, affordable housing, roads, and empowerment from the government! Where was Jaduong when people were putting sufurias on their heads and protesting expensive ugali?

You really work hard to escape the point: Kibaki created a dramatic shift from Moi incompetence - you can literally see the rapid rise in the chart. He still faced serious political problems principally for 1) tribalism and 2) betrayal of MOU with LDP/Raila.
Ruto's economic miracles are imaginary compared to Kibaki. Angalia chart hapo uone - flat line - numbers are better than your big meaningless WhatsApp photos here. In short Ruto has done nothing - growth is the same as under Uhuru.
Now if you add his 2 problems: 1) human rights abuses ie EJK and enforced disapperances and 2) betrayal of RiggyG/Mt Kenya.
You have the same outcome as Kibaki or worse. Kibaki had a GNU after the 2005 referendum loss. This is the same as Ruto's blood-based after the 2024 GenZ uprising.
Transfering budget from education to handouts or 'empowerment' is stupidity and treasonable. Ngoja RiggyG arudi mtakipata.

Console yourself with 10 years of dismal record and 2.5 years of Ruto. In the meantime, go to https://www.bomayangu.go.ke/ in your county or a county of your choice and get yourself a 2- or 3-bedroom for under $200 a month, so when you go to Kenya you have a place to stay. Cartels and family helping you to build a house or rent an Airbnb will eat you alive. The government has simplified the process for the diaspora by cutting cartels to size!

For me, the removal of Kasongo is very important, it will send a huge message to politics of corruption, mediocrity, tribalism and stupidity. Future leaders like akina Kangata have to produce visible and measurable results for the people.

2027 elections will seperate the truth from reality. As an objective observer relying on data, there is no President who has done what Dr Ruto has done in 2.5 years. Everything aside, healthcare overhaul alone is game changer. We have many employees in hour ancestral home and I'm responsible for paying for only 4 people. I use to pay 500 on NHIF per employee and everytime there is sickness, I usually end up forking 20-50K when employee gets sick because it was not covering anything. Now I pay 300 per employee on SHA, but since none have gotten sick (Knock on woods) to require hospital, I hear SHA pays 100% based on what others are saying for regular small ilnesses even major ilnnesses like cancer to a tune of 80%. That alone will save me money and countless of other people covered by SHA. If you are active in Kenya economy and know what small illness can break the bank, you know such a deal is gold and millions of Kenyans who trek to hospital every few months because of seasonal illnesses will have a diffrent opinion. A great president is the one that do things that affect regular people in society, like healthcare, education, housing affordability, cost of living, inflation, capital/credit, and agriculture. Those are the things that touch people in a profound ways and Ruto is on top of it! After his 5-7 years clear picture will emerge! On another angle, it looks like Kenyans are happy and doing party after party nowadays. It looks like money is quietly circulating in economy!

Based on what - winning CHAN gold? Even Uhuru the lazy drunkard did not face the fierce resistance Ruto does now.
I see us ammending katiba to add Ruto 3rd term

You don't get tired pushing propaganda. Ruto compared to Uhuru and Kibaki has faced little protest. Actually twice in 3 years and less deaths. Yala deaths during Uhuru regime is in the thousands. Matiangi killed so many Kenyans that their bodies cannot be accounted for from all the protests. In Kabki regime so many deaths and almost a million Kenyans were uprooted from 2007-2008 followed by many killings by police. Kenya Human rights still have documented of over 760 people killed. Since 2022 only 37 people have been confirmed dead from police brutality, which is the lowest in Kenyan history. To make things better, Ruto is the only President who has acknowledged police misconduct and on process to reward those wrongfully targeted. It is called transitional justice and Kenya is the only country in frica and few in the world to do so.

In 2015, Kenya experienced significant protests, often referred to as "Sabah Saba" protests, marking the anniversary of the transition to multi-party democracy. These protests were fueled by various grievances including high cost of living, unemployment, corruption, and police brutality. The protests were met with a forceful police response, resulting in numerous deaths, injuries, and arrest
In 2016, Kenya experienced protests, primarily focused on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). These protests, organized by the Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD), aimed to force the removal of IEBC commissioners, whom they accused of bias towards the president. The protests often involved clashes with police, who used tear gas, water cannons, and live ammunition. Fatalities and injuries were reported during these confrontations
In 2017, Kenya experienced a period of widespread protests and political unrest related to the presidential election.
Here's a breakdown of the key events and related issues:
1. Election results and initial protests
After the August 8th presidential election, President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner.
However, opposition leader Raila Odinga and his supporters alleged the results were rigged and fraudulent.
This led to immediate protests in opposition strongholds like Nairobi and Kisumu.
Sadly, some of these protests turned violent, with at least 24 deaths reported initially, including a 9-year-old girl hit by a stray bullet in Nairobi, according to the Kenya National Commission on Human Right
In 2018, Kenya experienced protests triggered by the 2017 general election, particularly around the disputed results and subsequent actions by the opposition leader, Raila Odinga. These protests were marked by violence, with clashes between protesters and police, resulting in casualties and numerous arrests. The protests also highlighted issues of police brutality and human rights violations
In 2019, Kenya experienced protests focused on issues of police brutality, political accountability, and high cost of living. These protests were sparked by various factors, including the death of a teacher. The protests evolved to include demands for justice for those killed in previous demonstrations, accountability for government actions, and an end to unchecked government spending
In 2020, Kenya experienced significant protests, primarily focused on police brutality and the government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic. These protests were fueled by anger over excessive force used by police during the enforcement of curfews and other restrictions. The demonstrations also highlighted broader issues of government accountability and human rights concerns.
