Ruto likes to dry-run - which worked against Gideon or Uhuru - not Riggy G the thug who was key muscle behind Jubilee defeat in Kiambaa, Juja, etc. Riggy has injected serious bile and don't forget his mother and wife are Meru.

Njagagua who is with Gachagua was beaten by Ruku by 500 votes in 2022.
Since independence, Mbeere South constituency had always elected its leaders from Mururi clan while Mbeere North picked its leaders from Ndamata clan.

Matiangi is simple - 1st you lose the most experienced strikers to Ruto - Raila and Kalonzo.
Matiangi attract 80% of mt Kenya - 20% plus Gusii 5% - 5% nationally - 30% - max 35%.
Ruto sweep the board with 65-70%.
Matiangi is bad for Kalonzo - because it 10yrs out - cant deputize Matiangi; bad for GEMA because it also 10yrs out; bad for Raila of course :) for many reasons.

I don't see how anyone will go for 5% Matiang'i unless as a spoiler. More likely to be sponsored by Ruto himself. We saw JB Muturi dump Uhuru 2022 so don't dismiss it.

Nope it's not a must win for DCP especially if Justin Muturi decides to run on DP party. There are alot of seats in Centro DCP can use to flex. Let IEBC get in office first then we will get to see if this another mighty party or not.

Possible rebrand but Ruto will be smoked for it. RiggyG is proving to be impressive fighter so far. I hope Ruto has a plan to counter the obvious attempt to keep Wiper from turning. Those ground onslaughts will make them hostile to any insiders claiming let;s join Ruto.
ODM - poor Raila - if he rejoin Azimio/opposition even as candidate Coast and NFD are gone with Ruto. If he choose Ruto Gusii and Luhya bolt.
