Ponny will never be governor of kakamega. The ethnic setup of the county does not favour him. He should remain senator and keep us up to date which of his kids has just passed KSCE.

We need to see precedent to go by, but fo now, Moses Masika and his Bukusu men, like Ken Lusaka, Wanyama, and Didmus Barasa controls Bukusu tribe the same. Raila has a hold of the Luos. When things change, we will go by that reality, but for now, it shows everytime that they deliver their people to whomever they support!

Luhya nation distinct subtribes are hard to be herd or unite among themselves because of clan and subclan dynamics, especially in smaller subtribes like Abamara. Khalwale would have lost the senate position if it were not for genius UDA political engineering to navigate clan and sub-clan structures. Kabra's subtribe will be hard to convince to vote otherwise in 2027, and I think with larger Bukusu in Bungoma, UDA and ODM still have an upper hand in western politics because FORD and Amani have been swallowed!

Sources close to the outspoken legislator reveal that he is quietly laying the groundwork for a new political outfit, the United Patriotic Movement, which is reportedly in the process of being registered through proxies. The party is expected to be headquartered in Nairobi.

People are busy registering briefcase parties so they can auction to the big Kahuna at the last minute. Mrima will have about 30 parties, Western about 20, Coast about 10, RV about 4, and countless others all over, with the main goal of minting money in the end in the name of mergers! They will either merge with UDA or ODM, which will be one thing in the end! lol
