Title: CS Wahome, housing levy is a tax not a saving

In 2022 PS for Housing Charles Hinga told Kenyans the housing levy was a saving. One could opt out after 7 years and take the savings plus interest. Now come 2025 the CS says the housing levy is a tax. The houses still have to be bought and the people who contributed to the fund, poleni sana. Hiyo pesa ni ya umma. Sii ya mama yako!
