Kenyan stats still have some lag as they need to update their popn as IMF still projects from their last census..but those guys could be about 63 million now.

Kenya and Africa have informal and subsistence agriculture earnings. For Kenya, I would add about 10 times that. The West's institutions capture formal earnings, and as a white supremacy agency, it tends to suppress anything non-white for white folks worldwide to feel good.  Don't trust anything from the IMF, World Bank, etc. My family members in my village live way better than average Americans. They own fully paid mansions, have paid cars, and have land that grows all kinds of crops. Formally, they may be making $8000-11000 a year on paper, but with the value they get from land, hustles, deals, farming, etc., and the relatively cheap cost of living, I'd say they live the kind of life of someone in America earning $140,000-200,000.

Yes PPP are way better than this - but poverty is also real.
Kenya GDP PPP is 5500 USD per capita - proper middle class
So many kenyans are living a proper middle class life.

Hasoras who make a million shillings ($7,600) per year and pay minimal consumption taxes, manage fixed costs, are able to enjoy very good lifestyles and comfortably pay black tax.

The poverty in Kenya increased during uhuru and ruto time. Pev made more kikuyus poor than any other time in recent history. I know at least several families in my area that went from multi millionaires to zero. One was worthy over 50 million and came back to my village penniless. We raised money to buy his family one acre of land and resettle them . Most kikuyus in hot spots now send their kids away for school and ask them never to return. I was dating one girl that she been gone from burnt forest since she was 9 and the goal is for all her siblings to settle in nairobi and never invest again in rv. Without rv poverty will just accelerate. Kikuyus are now going to malindi but I doubt they will be there for long before locals turn on them

That is a bunch of hogwash. You are talking like a typical kimende okuyu who has never set foot in RV. Kibaki stole elections, and that is what caused chaos and affected Kikuyu wealth and lives more than at any time in Kenya's history. Since we are a tribal nation, most Kikuyus will not admit or blame Kibaki/Karua's actions for most of their problem. If Raila had been sworn in in 2007, there would have been no fight or land chaos. I went to school in Burnt Forest (Arnesens Boys) in the middle of Kikuyu village in RV, so I know the area quite well. No sane okuyu will leave those areas to head to central or Nairobi. In fact, they move their families to RVs in droves because they thrive in RV villages. In my village, Okuyus own businesses and land, and they have been there since I was age 1; 40 years later, they are still there. Even during the height of post-election violence, Nandi people protect members of the community from any tribe. The enemy of kikuyu diaspora are kikuyus from outside!

Kenya benefits from stability and successful reforms. Even someone like Ruto now cannot be a tinpot dictator due to mature judiciary, civil society, etc and that shows the strength of institutions.

Kagame has caused bigger loss and retrogression to the Great Lakes than the puny growth in Rwanda. His biggest achievement used to be peace and a buzzing bee-colony but nope. All you hear is UK, Israel refugee scheme and blood diamonds.
