In our families,If you use force, the wife and children will rebel against you.Homes break down or children become delinquent. Its the same case in the community and nation states,The moment you use force, you lose legitimacy which creates violent insurrections.Look at countries like Uganda Obote and Amin, Rwanda,DRC,Haiti,Libya,Chile,Libya,Syria.A wise leader listens,Sometimes like in Ghana,It's better to lose the election and leave peacefully and maybe make a comeback later or lead a quiet life rather than using force to stick to power.I would rather resign, get defeated in a reelection and have peace in my life rather than oversee a disintegrated state.History shows us the end result.
As leaders,Let's cultivate peace love and unity. These are virtues I would choose to die for like Lumumba or Sankara because the power of love conquers all evil in the abundance of time.Using force radicalizes people,We have no option but peace and love towards each other.

Any president will harden and change tactics after a well-orchestrated coup. From the time he took over until 1983, Moi was the most progressive and environmentally conscious president, but after the coup, he became harsh and never trusted anyone again. I hope Ruto will not harden much after the Wamunyoro coup! A lot of coasterians, Somalis, and Kamatusa leaders are constantly urging him to really harden! The future will reveal the outcome!

No spin can redeem a government led by corrupt, murderous drug barons, land grabbers boasting about being effective in abducting kids for tweeting.
