Not really , its all related to Ukrainian Crisis , remember Conservatives won. Convincingly in 2019 after Brexit legislature failure by Theresa May.
Things are so bad for the Major parties just recently Macron lost in France due to the same reasons.

Go to your home town in Kiambu and you will be surprised 50% have no idea about that war or as you name it crisis.

Yes Ukrainian crisis is the biggest contributor on the current political happenings together with Covid recovery .
Even the Kiambu folks who dont know that these 2 are the reason they are having a hard time and partly the reason they went against Uhuru and now turned against Ruto . Inflation and increase in cost of living is not a joke . Historically it has always been like that .
