I guess you are quite stuck in Moism and Lordism. PORK has no capacity to be an aloof emperor in current status. The same CoK2010 that blocked BBI and saved Ruto from deep state - will not allow police state. Even #GenocideJoe has to face angry protesters everywhere.

Ruto has no such leverage that Moi had back in 82. He will get his comeuppance, if he hasn’t yet! We have crossed the rubicon.
As I always said and I will repeat it here, WsR is the biggest con to reach such a level of power in Kenya. In less than 18months in power he became a puppet of the west. He is the most corrupt and inept fellow to occupy that office. He even makes Moi look like a saint.
Whereas he had a chance and the resources to mount a second term, that’s now gone… gone kabisa with the wind. He will be a one-term-er. And that’s if he can navigate the next 36months to the end of this term. He has lost legitimacy and the power to even bribe. The cheap MP’s now know that power belongs to the people. Your scapegoat you always used has sat this out as he should have. You don’t have a bogeyman anymore…. Oooh, Lord of poverty, oooh mganga etc… this was a totally different gameplay, the state was totally outflanked.
Baba knew never to desecrate the different centres of power like the legislature or the judiciary. The kids know none of that!!! This is the rubicon that we have crossed and now all those fellows know to tread very carefully about Wananchi matters.
Unleashing the military and (almost) even invoking a state of emergency is cowardice!!! He should face the problem head-on. He should look at the problem facing him right in the mirror. This isnt about G Z anymore, someone better get handle on the situation soon or kenya will be ungovernable. Looks like kenya has to renegotiate its external loans and probably default. So this year we paid 557M eurobond
Now we are left with 500m.
So we are save this year.
Next year and rest - GOK has to issue eurobond of 2B every year to pay off those debts - and kick the can down.
Or how else will treasury get the dollars.
