Budget has been a keenly followed subject even when we were kids. At some point things like sugar would be hoarded a week before budget to reappear after budget.
Unlike previously where it was one or two items affected by budget, since last year, the finance bill has had crazy tax measures. Professionals, corporates, churches, civil society have been rejecting the proposals only for them to pass and then go through court processes.
These protests are an unintended consequence of the kiburi of showing public participation is nothing and govt cannot cut its expenditure wastage.
Now they are threatening useless CBC funding they pushed despite having a chance to revert to 8-4-4.

Globalist's opposition remains the economy and 50+1.
