Anything to shake up the land issues in Kenya is much welcome.

Such sentiments on expansive idle lands in likes of Kiambu, Naivasha and Laikipia are very welcome. Heck all over Kenya.

Mambo ni matatu- subdivide and sell, squatters invasiona or big crooks grabbing.

Why cannt this housing issue be devolved. Let counties use their land to build houses rent them out and generate capital for counties. National government should stick to only creating enabling investment climate and control.most should be handled by county governments.

My family home is in Gikumari,the said land.We have lived here since 1980s.Buried our ancestors here.Ruto wants to evict us.And kikuyu mps and gachagua are quiet.

I agree. National govt needs to stay out. How is this going to be implemented???
