Title: Argentina's dollarization - will it work?

A few countries tried it and failed miserably.
Will the country be worse off or do very well?
I bet The regular guy will not benefit.

That new guy ni mdomo tu! He will be in for a big surprise. Making noise is easier than running government and a country's economy.

The dollarization will not work. It has never worked outside the US and will not work in Argentina.

When he sits down and gets the fact that previous bills are pending, country doesnt produce much, inflation is 140%, he will jump into the antarctica.

I thought that during inflation, too much money chasing too few goods???

Just met an Argentinian driving Uber , he gave a detail situation of the current crisis . I also asked him about Dollarization and he told me the country has major Dollar reserves and they can tap on the bond market. But he still opined it wont solve the situation until the government changes its socialist policies and over taxation .
