Scientists are now engaged in PR and lies. The next target should be 2.0c. It is going to be one Hella of a ride people. AUSTRALIA will have a very hot summer. Fires may resume or serious drought

The "gobsmackingly bananas" part of these data is this:
the previous September record from 2020 was beaten by a whopping 0.49°C.
The next largest margins by which a previous September record was topped:
0.09°C
0.07°C
0.06°C.
