Title: Kagame sends top military officers home
Post by: Kadudu on August 31, 2023, 03:45:23 PM
Rwanda's paramount leader Paul Kagame seems to be also in panick mode. He sends top military officers home. In his shoes I would not  be worried. It seems the coup wave is mainly in Francophone African countries. Rwanda went Anglophone decades ago. :D

Wouldn't it be better to deploy them far away as diplomats, defense attache's etc...rather than retiring them and having them sitting idle at home?

In Africa power is everything. The moment you lose power your phone stops rigging. Your many sidechicks stop picking your calls. We are bad people. Everything is transactional. Nipe nikupe

The generals ain't much of a threat. It is the colonels, majors and captains who are hungry and can do it for tiktok.

The Gabon guy was sent away to Paris but still came back. The presidents just need to do their work and have legitimacy from the people and the jeshi.

Kagame should hand over power peacefully otherwise all his decades effort will be brought crumbling down, Hutu vs Tusti all over again
