Koome should let NPS work...that's why we have institutions...even the chief justice doesn't unilaterally appoint judges..

But he is acting under Ruto`s instructions inorder to have total control...otherwise the county commanders appointed by NPS cant take stupid orders from the IG or constant threats...Civil society should petition court to stop this kind of nonsense from Ruto and gachagua

Ruto has followed the law and constitution. AG need to step in and advice all the two parties accordingly. Clearly there is a misinterptation of powers of commission and IG.

Going by how other independent bodies operate - IG is wrong - he is member of police commission - and should let Chair and CEO run the police affairs on matters administrative.

His job is operational - not Administrative.
