I think it was something like Rava I cant remember. THe car was solid, but every other mechanical equipment was junk.
My uncle was Soviet educated.
During that time owning a car brought status.

Put it into context , Russian Auto making Industry is reviving slowly by slowly thanks to Ukrainian crisis . As the saying goes you never wake up a sleeping giant . Russia is realizing its potential like in the 1940s by the time world war 2 was over Russia was a super power .
