Title: I got lost in DC... got off at some random metro station

Was battered with chilly winds but kept walking around searching for a taxi and ended up outside the White house. Random.

DC has pleasant environs.  You should go to the Smithsonian Museum.

It's been a long time since I was there, but Georgetown has quite a few restaurants (representing a large part of the globe) and bars etc.   I mean the subtle, low-key style.   You'd be surprised at what you can find over there.  In the meantime, think of the flower and de-flowering I will soon give you.   Happy New Year!

I'm not interested in visiting museums etc. this place is unpleasant. People are not nice, quite tense and generally unpleasant. Everyone keeps complaining to me about everything. About this and that to Congress. So no I'm not interested in sight seeing. Will be checking out more slum based regions, outskirts and problem areas. That stuff has intrigued me rather than fancy monuments and museums.
