Ofcourse this is new money,Ruto had to slot in and create a new system with new people I dont see problem with this unless system is open to explotitation, Old money Rubis and others should shut up remember how for first time Kenya suffered devastating lack of oil it was crazy. Uhuru and co have to be punished where it matters this is what I was saying.
We however have to see how Kalenjinare managing the economy up to now I would say we give them more time not clear as gatheca had done major damage.

Of course kickbacks. Land in RV will become very expensive in the coming months since some residents there will be very liquid sooner than we thought.
When that term "government to government" comes up, be very suspicious. Uhuru used it to push through the SGR deals which actually turned out to be just Chinese government cooporations that made private deals with Kenya Railways.

This is the way to deal with Uhurus people not going after sijui Tax blah blah blah hit them where it matters bring in new hustlers in the system simple and clear BUt dont create new scandals that will bankrupt economy, people can eat and economy grow at same time if kept at 10% :) of the tender.
Uhuru used to do 20% which is dangerous Moi did 40%which was catastrophic, hopefully nkalenjini will remember that.
Its only Kibaki who did 10% eating per tender and you can see how economy grew.

First nobody will buy Russia oil - unless they want to get in trouble with US and EU.

Secondly Kenya gov is going to bring back NOCK to do it's job.

Moi and Biwott killed NOCK - once they got Kenol-Kobil - working. The cartels now are likes of Rubis (who bought Kenol-Kobil) and sold it to Kenyattas.

It estimated they make 25% above what oil is sold in DUBAI. Every month some cartel buy oil cheaply in Dubai and as soon as it's landed - they make cool 25%. Tritons and small players.

Thirdly Kenya gov is trying to save 500M dollars per month - by buying fuel with long term credit - 9 months. This ease the pressure on KES.

I believe Ruto is in Dubai to seal that deal - that will save kenya serious forex in the short term - and also save the industry 25% - and return NOCK to it's role - when it was formed in 1984 - Oil crisis.

If this go - plus LPG - CHIRCHIR would have delivered big time for kenya people.

Seems its a fightback from UhuRailas regime that now new money is taking over .

Thats why I call you a Mjuaji . EU it self is buying oil from Russia . You need to take time and fully understand who whole story of what is going on with Ukrainian Crisis. Especially the component of Sanctions .
Kiburi yako makes you to not decipher alot of information.

FYI most of the oil coming to Kenya is oilf bought from Russia and processed in Middle east and China and then exported to Kenya . So if trouble was to happen then it would start with Middle east and China

The week of 16 to 22 January 2023, the EU was the largest importer of Russian fossil fuels. The top five other importers were China, India, Turkey and South Korea.

The EU imported pipeline gas, oil products and LNG, as well as crude oil via pipeline or rail. China imported a mix of crude oil, coal and pipeline gas. India’s imports consisted of crude oil and coal. Turkey imported a mix of coal, crude oil, oil products and pipeline gas. South Korea’s imports consisted of coal and crude oil.

Four of the the top five ports importing Russian fossil fuels were in Asia, with crude oil and coal as the imported commodities. One of the top five ports was in Europe, importing LNG.

The top five EU importer countries last week were the Netherlands, Slovakia, Germany, Belgium and Italy.

The value of crude oil shipments from Russia rose in the past week, with an increase in shipments to unknown destinations – these could be unsold cargoes still looking for buyers or ships that are not declaring their destination. The value of shipments of oil products stayed rather stable. The volume of Russia’s seaborne oil shipments has recovered to the level preceding the EU ban.

You idiot putting January data - when EU & US had not banned oil imports completely - as of now march - it banned as of last month

The European Union’s ban on Russian oil product exports is slated to kick in on Feb. 5. The embargo will take effect exactly two months after the West took by far the most significant step to curtail fossil fuel export revenue funding Russia’s war.

Russia recently was looking for place to dump their oil - only Ghana accepted to store - but not use it

Yes outside Europe - although pressure is soon pilling up - Indians are going slow. Poor country like Kenya will not touch Russia oil with ten foot pole. India and China and Saudis will.
