Unless you're short - that looks pretty okay.

Pretty close to what I have could have sworn you stole my resolution,mine;

1. Get lean shed about 15kgs, do most walking and less driving
2. Reduce on alcohol, possibly will be going weeks without.
3. Reduce time on social media,I only blog on nipate nothing else
4. Start my retirement plan,let wife start running things as I do secures for the future.

The problem with point 3 because of how internet is awash with social media stuff its hard to get rid off especially on phones you try to do something important then a pop up comes on screen just showing crap from social media bloggers.

Njamba bado unang'ang'ana na tusungus uko manjuu and those mama mafuta blek gels after all these years?
Retirement is sweet but not all it is cracked up to be. I retired in 2003 March 1st but managing what you have is still a full time njobo. The biggest benefit of retirement is that you can decide to wake up at any time and waste time fweeeeh doing whatever floats your boat including walking to the nearest duka to hunt for sugar cane stalks or maziwa or whatever. Then Kwiinya is a funny place as well. Everything is run on wrong priorities and stealing, so you have to build your own cocoon life for yourself wifey and family to shield yourself from such things. Constant flawless stima, maji basics for example are a mirage so you have to fix those for yourself especially in your retirement home far from Nairofi. Weka 3Kw of Solar nyweeee and turn your village into a mini city and half your probos are solved. The sweetest part of Kenya is getting into the double cab 4wd, cowboy hat on, carrying 300 seedlings to go plant in the vast shamba mashinani on a nice weekday. Rolling down Kenyan roads shwaaaa and stopping to pick bags of onions, tomatoes and mboga for the wafanyii on the way there. No better feeling than that. My resolution for 2023? To buy 200 more acres hapo Coasto on which to breed Museveni type Ankole Cattle. Ni hayo tu!.

All the best with it :D

I'm excited to say that Nipate did the best this year, millions of views so had to upgrade bandwidth etc. because of exceptional contributions from all, particular shout out to our resident guru RVP and moderators for speaking their truth.

We've become a go to forum for politics in the diaspora because we preach truth for the motherland.

So many unsung heroes like OO paved the way to safeguard Kenya against falsehoods and fake news. They set the culture and tone for a dialogue that heals a nation and retains a conscience.

Because of their voices still echoing in the virtual verse, the world may burn 🔥 but Kenya will not.

This year, I shall be reflecting on paying homage to those who have fallen and begged God not to forget Kenya.

My new year resolution is very simple and I hope it works for the rest of my life. I am learning to relax, take things easy and smell the roses. I have always being a very intense person since my childhood, too serious and always on the go, my kids loved it because were always doing something but drove my wives crazy. I am learning to wake up and be satisfied with a day of doing nothing and just enjoying being alive. That’s a huge change for me but so far so good. Since the election, I know two ardent Ruto supporters close to me who have since passed, that wakes you up to start thinking of your priorities, I think we invest too much time and emotion on things like politics and wealth and forget what really matters, happiness.

Join a YMCA near you.  Most will have swim instructors.  And if you are a complete noob, you get to learn good swim practices(no need to unlearn bad habits) from the best right out of the bat.

Those are a lot of miles.  Swimming will make you an even better runner.  Big lungs, finer tuned joints...I am going in just now for an hour of drills and workouts.
