To capture their export market esp in Africa. It appears Europe dont want to feed the world anymore because of the prize they have to pay. Chance for Africa to feed itself

True. The price is high. Enviromental issues plus sending subsidized cheap food to Africa has made African farmers jobless. This leads to more migration to Europe.

Challenges of having a centralised government...you find policy makers who have no regard of human dignity.

Its not gonna happen.
No country will ever give sovereign rights to feed its people for any climate stuff, especially after Ukraine.
They are just asking for a revolution.

They are actually pushing factory laboratory GMO fake foods.... for the deplorables. And Ukraine operations fit properly in the agenda since fertilizer and fuel input of agriculture were throttled.

Here's The Latest Sign Americans Are Going To Eat Bugs And Be Happy

The latest sign Americans will one day be eating insects is that a top bug producer announced Tuesday major expansion plans in North America.

French insect producer Ÿnsect signed two agreements to expand production facilities in the US and Mexico in 2023. The company "entered an accelerated phase of international development with the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Ardent Mills for an industrial facility in the United States and the signing of a joint development agreement with Corporativo Kosmos in Mexico."
